Can you believe it's Post #100!!!

Today I took 2 dogs out for a walk and saw a bear around the corner sniffing around so waited for a while until it had gone as the dogs go a little beserk around bears. After it had disappeared I carried on my way.. On my walk back, just when I thought the coast was clear, I came through a tunnel under the highway and saw a snout poking out the other side, out of a garden. He was up quite a bit higher than me, and luckily in the middle of his 'business' so was not about to disturb us.. But the dogs went a bit mad growling and barking.. Still blows me away that I get annoyed about hanging around waiting for a bear to move along so I can get the dogs out walking!! haha.

The Official Bear Tally from May up until now: Yes - it's a competition to see who spots the most bears this summer... childish I know.. hehe

Canada Camping 101

Hey ya..

Just got back from a short camping trip away with some buddies to Lillooet Lake. It about an hour north of Whistler and was pretty awesome. Great views and we didnt see a single bear around our campsite which was rockin..... that was really the only part of camping in Canada that we were worried about.. the big animals!!.. haha.
