High School Reunion in Vegas Baby, Vegas!!

WOWWEEEEE! What a trip! So many old faces, so much fun... We had a crew of about ten staying at the Tropicana while the rest of the gang were staying at Treasure Island. Friday night's cocktail party was a blur, overwhelming to say the least...So many fragmented conversations interrupted by another familiar face walking past.. But by Saturday's bbq everyone was way more relaxed and up for a big night.. Vegas definitely lived up to my expectations. If you can put aside the decadent waste of water, electricity and cash for a second, you can have a lot of fun. I had no idea the Hoover Dam's main purpose is to divert water from the Colorado River just to power Vegas - nuts!! If you like time warped music - whatever happened to Hootie and the Blowfish? - the chi-ching of the slot machines, flashing neon lights, showgirls in g-strings, man-made volcanoes, lions behind glass at MGM, roller coasters on top of towers and all out hedonism, go to Vegas.

We left Vegas with our bodies breathing out a huge sigh of relief...

Now we're in Los Angeles staying with Kat & Sash, finally resting up.. Tara is here too so the 3 of us have been hanging out while the others are at work, commiserating with colds, punishment for too much partying :o) oops! We've got Craig, Alex, Tyler & Scottie in the vicinity this week so will have to have a few catch ups before we go. Rich & I are up to Vancouver Sunday evening when we'll finally have to get serious and find jobs & somewhere to live.. arrrgghh... Too soon!!!

Hope all is well wherever you are,

Heat wave in London!

Howdy everyone,

Well after 4 days of freezing weather, out came the heat and it hasn't stopped!! Man... So the past 2 and a bit weeks here has flown past, can't really believe it. We're outta here next Friday now! Two weddings down already. Wales was gorgeous for Andrew & Ellas with a church wedding then a reception set on a hill within castle ruins - awesome.. We've had a few big London nights but have to say, cannot hack the pace at all!! Happy about our decision to go to Canada for sure..

Yesterday we hit Hampstead Heath and went swimming in the ponds which was really fun.. Apart from getting covered in silt and slime it was soooo nice to finally cool off and get our heads under water..

Right now we're off to the War Museum so I don't imagine that will be 'fun' but something we've always wanted to do..

Peace xx
