4 weeks to go!!

Well here we are, with just 4 weeks to go until the big day.. There has been very little stress, still.. Things are falling in to place and we're looking forward to the little break we'll get when we go up to the Goldie for the week.

Otherwise, it's just the same-o same-o thing.. Working a lot and playing a little. Definitely not the balance we want, not a balance at all!! We'd much rather it were the other way around.. Anyhoo, for the moment we're in savings mode so it's all we can do..The month of May won't come soon enough for both of us, when we pack our stuff again, it'll be exactly a year to the day since we packed it in London last year (hmmm..that's weird) and we head off again to new adventures and new people oot and aboot in Vancouver. I think we're trying to live the eternal summer, haha.. It will have been a year and about 4 months of sunshine..Compared to the better part of 4 years of dark and cold in London... But then it will be a bitter Canadian winter I'm sure we'll be ready for it by then :o) snow snow snow!

Anyways, I thought it was about time there was a new post on our website.. We're very slack.. Although I think it's just a reflection of our lives at the time. When we've got lot going on that we're excited about there's just too much to write about and the posts are more frequent.. Kind of like taking photos, you're only inspired to be snapping away when you're having fun and excited about life I think...

New chitchats have led us to think we may start our trip in May by going through Alice Springs and checking out Ayers Rock before we leave Australia.. So that would be a bit of a peak experience I'm sure and a nice way to say adios.

I hope everyone who reads this (if there is anyone anymore out there!) is happy and well, can't wait to see a lot of you in less than a month!

The plan for 2005..so far

As most of you know, Rich and I have fixed a date to get hitched! The 25th of March this year marks the day that we will be celebrating with a bunch of family and great friends up on South Stradbroke Island in Queensland.

So, as it is such short notice, it's great in terms of a lack of time to stress..Although I guess that may not always figure, it is the way that it's going. We pretty much get to choose what we would like and the couple who run the place organise the rest! So far everything is done & dusted except what we're wearing and we've still got a 6 weeks to sort that out! hehe, no problemo.

So ladies, it is possible to have a relatively stress-free lead up to a wedding - yay!! Who woulda thought it?

In other news we've got Miss Amanda Chetwynd landing on our doorstep tomorrow which is very exciting. She's on her way to Sydney to live but stopping off to see us and check out Melbourne. Sim & Bri have left Australia now & are tripping their way around NZ, on their way to Hokitika as I type. Work.... is work. We've got a cool festival called Good Vibrations coming up soon with the Cuban Brothers and other silliness playing.

I think that's all our news. We're now going to come back down to Melbourne beginning of April and work an extra month and a half before heading to the UK for the Andrew & Ella wedding in Wales and then my high school reunion in Vegas (vegas baby vegas!) and then we move all our gears to Vancouver to live.. Exciting times that are gonna roll around very quickly. We are so excited about seeing everyone in the UK again! And Vegas - well what can ya say?? Neither of us have been so we're pretty happy about that.. And hitting the mountain biking & snowboarding lifestyle of Canada has got us so amped were at the gym 3 or 4 times a week right now.. nuts.
